Sue Adores a Scallop. The table she'll host at for years.
Elyse built the first one for her own game. Nothing she could find online was big enough for a full mat, pretty enough to leave out, and still folded away after hosting. So she made it: a 35-inch square with a scalloped edge, cut to fit a NOLI JUNE mat, that folds flat and slides into a closet when the game is over. No game room required. It's named for her grandmother Sue, who hosted the Tuesday game for forty years.

The story
Forty years of Tuesdays.
Every Tuesday afternoon for forty years, the same women showed up at the home of Sue, the founder's grandmother. The living room, the sunroom, gin, gossip and mahjong. They didn't always play to win. They played to be there.
Sue's granddaughter, Elyse Pickle, started NOLI JUNE to set that table again. Every mat is designed by the founder and named for one of the women in the circle, with a name that tells you exactly who she was: Jean Always Chose Cranberry From a Can. Sue Dabbled in Spellwork.
The brand mark is Whiskey Sue, the founder's poodle, named for her grandmother.
Sue
Wore fur to the grocery store. Did not curate. Had taste.
Lena
Took her water with lemon. Drove a convertible. Knew everyone's birthday.
Harriet
Brought a single dahlia in a coupe. Hosted only her own garden.
Jean
Fed her two white poodles paté on porcelain. Did not apologize.

The founder
Elyse Pickle
Elyse Pickle is a Memphis-based founder and brand strategist with sixteen years in digital marketing. She started NOLI JUNE to honor her grandmother Sue's forty-year Tuesday mahjong circle, and designs every mat herself. The brand went from concept to hundreds of orders in its first week.
She built the first Sue Adores a Scallop table for her own game, because nothing she could find online was big enough for a full mat, pretty enough to leave out, and still folded away after hosting.
She is available for interviews, podcasts and segments.
